Most utilities out there are based around that premise so it would make sense the defaults would be catering to this majority. Standard Windows & Linux installs typically are either legacy MBR or UEFI. Macs use a hybrid partition structure which is not typically used with standard PCs. The problem is that Macs are not standard PCs. I only tried using Clonezilla many years ago before UEFI systems became available. Looking through these apple discussions, I conclude that Loner T must be a real experienced and savvy person. Perhaps, some expert would like to answer all these questions. I guess, I made these questions very clear. Can I upgrade from Sierra to Mojave or Catalina and still have a working Bootcamp Windows installation AND have a working sound function there?
